Republican Congressman, Reid Ribble, has joined the band of the brave and come out against subsidies for oil companies to develop oil and gas reserves. Rep Ribble is right. Politicians and people have supported some really stupid ideas, many of them for a very long time, and the using taxpayers money to fund the wealthy is plain wrong. J D Rockfeller did not need take taxpayers money to create the Standard Oil. He would have been sickened to know the industry was doing it.
