The Fisheries Committee on the 7th July was strange to watch.
The EPP managed to get the Chair position and 2 Vice Chairs. The Greens and the Social Democrats got the other 2 places.
The Chair blocked any debate on the candidates for the slot that the EFDD should have got. The Greens were shocked and noted that the right to be heard before a vote was standard practice. The Chair thought otherwise.
I hope the meeting on 22 July (or is it 23 July) is maybe a little more constructive.
